Cordelia Chase played by Charisma Carpenter

It's common knowldge that Charaisma auditioned for Buffy before getting the role of Cordelia, but did you know that the role of Cordelia nearly went to Bianca Lawson (Kendra), before they saw Charisma?
She is named after an Avon perfume that her mother likes.
She was a Cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers and is sick of people going on about it.
Her family moved to Mexico when she was 15
She studied classical ballet from the age of 5, but reckons she is a terrible singer and can't watch herself singing in The Puppet Show
She wanted to be and English teacher before becoming an actress. She thinks that maybe one day she will go into the teaching profession.
When Cordy first joined the Slayerettes, Charisma was worried that she'd become nice. (No worries there)
She loves doing scenes with Nicholas Brendon, especially the 'Bitca' scenes.
Rember when Cordy impaled herself on a pipe in Lover's Walk? Well that happened to Charisma when she was 5. A pool was being built in her back garden and her and her friend were playing where they shouldn't be. Charisma fell into the pool and impaled herself on one of those metal bars they use to reinforce the concrete. "I almost died." she says.
She was afraid of her brother when she was little.

(Ale)Xander Harris played by Nicholas Brendan

Nicholas Brendon had never planed to have an acting career but when he received an arm injury his sports career was no longer realist. After realizing this he decided on an acting career and made his first television appearance in a clearasil commercial.

But as acting career has always had its problems of actor's constantly being unemployed he decided to switch to a more stable role in television and decided to work behind the scenes as a television production assistant on Dave's World. David latter got the part of a guest-starring role on the series. During the time spent on Dave's World Nicholas gained the acting confidence he needed and once again pursue the dream of becoming an actor. His big chance came when he was called in to audition for a role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Some of the television shows and movies Nicholas has acting in are The Young and the Restless, he starred in the pilot Secret Lives, Children of the Corn III-Urban Harvest, starred in The Further Adventures of Tom Sawyer, My Own Private Hollywood and Out of Gas on Lover's Leap.


Nicholas Brendon plays Xander in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
